Have you outgrown your personal name?

There’s a fragile moment when a business grows beyond your name into something much bigger.

That’s where Emily Terrani was when we first connected.

Her personal brand – Emily Terrani Coaching – had built a great reputation and was bringing in solid revenue.

But like all of us purpose-driven business owners...
Emily wasn’t just chasing dollar signs; she was chasing impact.

Emily knew her purpose was to punch higher. To build something bigger than herself, so that she could impact more than just her one-to-one coaching clients.

She needed a brand that felt less “solo coach”…
and more “movement.”

📈 Are you ready to scale beyond a personal brand?

Personal brands can be extremely powerful. But in some cases, your name may feel more like a ceiling than an engine for growth.

Like when…

  • You want your business to scale, without being tied to you personally.
  • You want to stop being the bottleneck.
  • You want your offers to feel more like products, instead of slots on your calendar.
  • You want to eventually sell, hire, or partner.
  • You want clients to trust the brand, not just the founder.

Branding around your name worked for a season. But growth demands evolution.

🔍 How we made it happen for Emily…

Step 1: The Brand Appetizer

We began by getting clear on her purpose, values, and her unique difference that makes clients love her.

If your redesign doesn't start here, beware of building a forgettable brand that blends in.

Step 2: Industry Research

We explore language, trends, and tone – not to copy what’s out there, but to create something different that will resonate with the right people.

The goal is to stand out. 🎯

Step 3: Core Branding Ideation

At this stage, my secret weapon is my sketchbook.

We dumped every “okay” idea out of our brains first. These are the common industry tropes that everyone uses – the symbols and messaging that are so basic, they’re forgotten as soon as the customer sees them.

The gold mine lives beneath these.

I came up with 5 solid contenders for brand names. Then, Emily pressure-tested them with her clients – because their opinion isn’t just nice to have, it’s non-negotiable.

Final Brand Name: Mind Growth Lab

It’s a name that says “come in, experiment with proven frameworks, and walk out with a plan.” Which is the exact transformation her clients crave.

🧭 Ask yourself…?

This isn’t just for personal brands. This is a question that every small business owner needs to ask themselves:

Does your brand reflect the direction you want your business to go? Or is it a reflection of what your business used to be?.

Rebranding is a lot more than a visual refresh. It’s a strategic shift that can attract higher-quality clients, increase trust, and set your business up to scale.

And if that sounds like something you’re interested in…

I’ve got very limited availability in July and August for full brand redesigns.

If you’re considering a rebrand, let’s start with a free consultation. We’ll see if your goals align with what I offer – and if it makes sense to move forward.
